 I do not know, it is a different ML than the others? (newer model?) I do not know anything to these SUV, I think that I labelled all ML with the first code that I had, I did not know that there was more than one W-code for the ML.

The only strange thing in the movie´s car it´s the black grill, but it´s clearly a w164.

Thanks for that, but it unfortunately seems that baseless claims(made in good faith) might sadly and accidentally be given validity here, resulting in this. This clearly a USDM model, which started in 2005 as a 2006 model year vehicle. There is never such a thing as a predecessor and successor sharing the same model year. Did Mercedes-Benz dare to make the mistake of marketing both the W163 and this as 2005 models? Nope, they marketed the latter as an early 2006 model.

 That has been done many times before. Protypes were tested already in 2003.

That would be a challenge for you, @Gamer - find an early VIN sample, decoding it would give you the date (early 2005) and MY (2006?)
