I think all Dodge Ram Vans at this point were made in Canada. This is the one bit of info that is incorrect on Wikipedia, which states that all B-Series/Ram Vans were built in Windsor, Ontario, but that plant wasn't completed until 1974. Now Allpar does list the Warren Michigan plant for B-Series vans from 1972-77, but they had to be built somewhere before then. I have to check some other sources for where else they may have been built, but I'm fairly certain that by the 1980s, they were all made in Windsor. EDIT - Allpar also lists the B-Series being made in the Fenton/St Louis North Plant until 1980. This was confirmed in the Standard Catalog of Light-duty American Trucks, which has a note that production shifted to Windsor in March 1980. So from MY 1981 on, all Dodge Ram Vans/Ram Wagons were made in Canada. -- Last edit: 2020-11-06 08:05:19 |
