Early one 67-68 with wide gap between grille and sidelights. 1 UML plate was a University Motors plate - a big London MG dealers who amongst other things bought the unsold joblot of 176 MGCs (mostly or all GTs) when production stopped in Sept 69 and jazzed them up as a special edition.
