HiLux. Or maybe just Truck for USA? |

Truck. Only the first one was called Hilux. |

I put it in as Truck. Sometime in the 90s, the name was changed to Pickup, then in 1996, the Tacoma finally made its debut. |

BTW, this is Borat's truck in the movie. In the original Borat movie, he drove an AM General icecream truck, which he bought from Criswell Chevrolet in Gaithersburg, MD. |

I’m going with 1984 Toyota Pickup 2WD (because the 4WD had bigger fender flares). |

Yeah definitely 4X2, going by the wheels as well. I believe the 4X4 models had different steel wheels with the larger center hubs for the 4X4 system. That and this one sits lower, which would mean that it's a 4X2 as well. Back when I was in Boy Scouts as a kid, my scout leader had a blue one identical to this (not sure what year it was, but his was 4X2, and had these wheels). -- Last edit: 2020-10-28 06:46:12 |

Used by Borat throughout the movie, so yes. |
