late 1920s early 1930s Tilling Stevens the Tilling Stevens factory was in Maidstone so many have local registrations the local operators Maidstone and district and East Kent both operated TSM vehicles |

Popular with showmen because the electric transmission on many T S of that vintage meant that the generator could be used to power small rides and light the stands. I don't think that they would run dodgems or a scenic railway, but there might be a nice big Burrell Super Scenic to do that. The T S also was used as a power source for searchlights in WW2. |
