Lateef ◊ 2020-09-12 09:15	The B-pillar indicator is just the standard repeater found on Danish cars back then, and the grille (+ header panel lettering) and taillights all identify 1957 [L].
tore-40 ◊ 2020-09-12 10:07	The high indicator may be a Danish design. I can't be sure of the lettering, even the front indicator is represented by a dot, but in the wrong place. The grille could be an 'L', but more likely the 'K' as it seems to be missing the large 1957 'V' badge, Volvo even delivered some 'H' with this But the clearest indication is the pre-1957 higher side trim (1957 was 544-style, lower and extended to the front). Also the old taillights are sitting on the hips, can't really see the 1957 bullet type lamps on the wings, sorry

I thought I could see the fender-mounted taillights of the L, however turns out they're a reflection: In this pic, there does appear to be something on the grille, perhaps the V: The grille surround and fill still resemble that of the L more than the K to me. The front indicators may be DK-spec fitted on pre-1957 cars. So it could be a 55-56 car fitted with a 1957 grille and letters.
