Why have I been suspecting it's a Berliet? |

I'm afraid your suspect won't confirm itself...it's a British truck. |

Okay, since it really is British, how about an old ERF? Link to "commons.wikimedia.org" |

Never with that cab, it’s a Vistavue only used by Leyland/Albion/Dodge https://www.flickr.com/groups/977264@N24/ hence LAD. https://www.flickr.com/groups/977264@N24/ Your example is an earlier ERF V-type with a Jennings or Willenhall cab. The subject vehicle is a Leyland in my opinion. No doubt one of the truck experts will advise which model chassis, it looks like a long wheelbase special but possibly a Beaver. /vehicle_1326202-Leyland-Beaver-LAD-1959.html https://www.pinterest.co.uk/pin/712131759798646610/ -- Last edit: 2020-08-19 23:47:50 |
