Knife-edge decision, but I think might be Daimler Sovereign. I don't see the leaping Jag on the front panel but might be a slight thing on the bonnet where the more subtle D logo should be. Nothing else in this view to split them. But to avoid any argument, let's go for the very nice Avenger GLS behind it . Which is probably the normal purple-aubergine colour, but might just be the very rare Damson/Violet shade used for a limited number of ‘Dealer-Special’ Avenger GLS in a launch batch in 1972 which featured purple seat-belts, seats, carpets and roof lining alongside the unique colour. Designed to generate showroom traffic, none were sold until the promotion finished in 1973. The story gets confused because Corgi/Vanguards released what they thought was one of these Dealer Specials (TYR 726M, VA10408) which we have in "Ashes to Ashes", but that car is in the wrong shade - Lilac, a normal colour.
