Fake Chinese military number plate: http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/jpglps/AS_China_OT.jpg I suppose that no-one in Hong Kong had a Beijing BJ212 (the standard Chinese army 4x4) at the time. /vehicle_121368-Beijing-BJ-212.html |

Not really. This film was made in 1994, three years before the handover in 1997. What's more, it's a Hong Kong production filmed on location in Hong Kong, where genuine Chinese military vehicles were obviously not available, so the crew just did the best they could with some British army surplus Bedfords and Land Rovers. -- Last edit: 2007-11-30 17:01:52 |
