Bedford O-type, the Army registration looks unlikely for a 14 year old truck, not impossible but an RL would be more like for the role. |

Similar information found... RA-RM Army 1949 B and D Vehicles and earlier models rebuilt during that year. How sure are we that the font is wrong on the Zephyr and the Bedford? The Zephyr's looks definitely wrong to me but the Bedford's less so if it was hand painted in 1949? The only question remains is was the number-plate is mocked-up by the movie production company based on an actual Army series of numbers? |

The army did buy Bedfords just like this post war and Fordson Thames ET6 as 4x2 3 tonners to supplement the Bedford OY's. So probably ex army. The chrome bumper looks like a civilian add on. -- Last edit: 2020-07-31 23:29:12 |
