Isn't this a 1965? There are a lot of 1965 Barracudas listed than 1964s. What's the first model year of the Plymouth Barracuda 1964 or 1965. Wikipedia says the first generation of the Plymouth Barracuda was produced from 1964 to 1966.

The Ford Mustang and the Plymouth Barracuda were both announced in mid 1964. While the first of these Mustangs were listed and VIN coded as 1965 models, such was not the case with the Barracuda. They were 1964's and for that short model year, were technically part of the Valiant line, thus "Valiant Barracuda". My understanding is these had the "Valiant" name plate on the car along with "Barracuda", while the '65's dropped the Valiant name.
I also assume that '64 models with automatic transmission would have had a push-button selector while the '65's would have returned to a column shifter.
Have had a hard time finding much additional information about the difference between these two model years. Can anyone else out there help?
(Of course, the reason you see more '65's is because they were built for the full 1965 model year, while the '64's had a short run.)
