1931 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Savoy Town Car by Brewster, Chassis 212AJS. Phantoms were no longer built at Springfield at the time, so the chassis was delivered from England and received its coachwork at Brewster's. It's one of only six Phantoms sold in America in this height of the depression year, and despite they had a prohibition, too, Brewster fitted it with a liqueur cabinet, which clearly proves that even in an allegedly classless society like America, some are more classless than others. |
