This looks like a Ford, don't know who made the pumper chassis. |

I'm not sure this is a Ford. |

Agreed. I think this is a big International. Maybe a 5000 Paystar. |

I wouldn't rule out Ford completely. I sure ain't no truck expert, but from what I've seen, with very little research, the top of the fender seems to be parallel to the wheel well on the Paystar. Try this 1992 F-800: http://www.geocities.com/msrescue108/1089rf.JPG could also be F-8000 or FT-80000. The side of the nose seems to flare out like Ford as well. Paystars, I think, started to look more like this around 95, after the movie was made. -- Last edit: 2007-11-22 06:18:07 |

The Ford F-Series you showed us had that body-style between 1980 & 1993, with the blue oval insignia in the grille added around 1984. Before that it was just the word F O R D spelled out in the middle, and from 1994-99 it looked more like an IHC. In fact it looked like a modernized version of the old International Harvester Loadstar. However, since very little is relevant to this truck, I think this might be an International Harvester myself. |

Thats what I was thinking, Im stuck between a IH Paystar 5000 or just a plain IH 5000. ![]() |

I support International, just based on the cab. |

...and the way they did the four-door models - same back doors as front doors. Bad designing, but saved them money, I suppose. Oh yeah, definitely an IH. |
