That's why it didn't look right, I was too liberal with how much chrome the view allowed. Some of it seems to blend in, and, you're absolutely correct. The DeSoto front fender trim should have an extra spear off the top of the model/series badge, and I agree on the rear fender contour.
So this should be a Styleline Deluxe convertible coupe [1067] in Fathom Green Poly 1 of 20,172 total convertible producttion (a little less rare :) ) Link to "clubs.hemmings.com"
