Not 1991, this is 1990; one of the first P10 built and sold in the UK It must be SGX, by the way Edit: Yes, it is a SGX, confirmed by plate. -- Last edit: 2008-06-17 22:25:55 |

Date of first registration: May 1998 Interesting - no listing found for 1.8 in UK in Glass's or another trade guide, and no SGX until Jan 92 2.0 SGX (renamed from 2.0 GSX). Some funny things happened with late 80s/early 90s Nissans here with a problematic importer who went bust in 91. Nissan set up direct distribution at the start of 92, removing any non-standard arrangements. |

First MY was 1991 for EU models. Early models were indeed manufactured as early as Autumn of 1990. |

But is it an EU model? It seems 1.8 motor was RHD-only, and dsl said that officially didn't appear in UK price lists. Could it be made for/destined/sourced from Ireland, Malta or Cyprus and sold by the unofficial importer? Or is could even be a JDM model? |

I don't think we had any G plate Primeras, so this should be a JDM one. |

Let’s find out where it was built. That will tell us. Well, cardotcheck doesn’t list the country of origin. However, J spec models have the repeater in the molding while EU spec have it higher. I believe the repeater is on the fender. Not a Japanese trim level (SGX) so this is indeed a EU spec model. https://www.goo-net-exchange.com/catalog/NISSAN__PRIMERA/ -- Last edit: 2023-01-29 00:31:07 |

It doesn't add up as an EU car either though (the spec and engine weren't sold here, and it was first registered at 8 years old suggesting an import)? Maybe better to leave the info blank? Could be from somewhere else like South Africa? No trim badge as on all UK Primeras, and I think the repeater should be more visible? https://live.staticflickr.com/7194/6843752416_bbb2f0a41f_c.jpg -- Last edit: 2023-01-29 01:02:56 |

I have taken out the build in and made for tag. Agree since we don’t know for certain. However, ruling out JDM so at the very least a 1991 MY since only Japan are 1990s. |
