"UHR 850 is a tuned 1959 Mk1 Austin Seven. Originally owned by Daniel Richmond, proprietor of Downton engineering, it was used as a development hack and became one of Downton's best known and respected racers. Daniel Richmond died in 1974 and the car passed to his wife Bunty who left instructions that on her death (in 1975) the car should either be burned or placed in a museum. UHR 850 now displayed at the Motor Heritage Centre, Gaydon." Sept 59 plate so very early example. ✗ Untaxed Tax due: 1 April 1997 |
