LML 651 = Middlesex July 42 to Sept 43 "allocated in blocks", so could be genuine wartime civilian issue in a 1943 film

The Glasso Paints factory in Wadsworth Road, Perivale, Middlesex features at the end of the film, so ties in with the registration.

The civilian truck version was introduced from September 1941, and shows the typically skinny tyres (6 inch) at the front versus the larger (7 inch) twin tyres on the back.

I would imagine Glasso Paints factory would have been particularly busy with aircraft paint in 1943 .
