How about a Ford Scorpio? |

Opel Vectra/Cavalier |

no Vectra and no Scorpio, Vectra is smaller and the back door of a Scorpio is of different shape. |

I guess a Senator not based upon the Omega, but earlier |

Based on the Rekord: like this one http://www.austin-rover.co.uk/images/sd1rivals_04.jpg |

Its not a Senator, Carlton or a Cavalier as the rear 1/4 glass is in the wrong position & the wrong shape, as is the rear light shape, rear arch shape & the flatness of the front edge of the bonnet, I`d say Vectra 95` onwards. Although it could also be one of the Vauxhall/Opel bodied Protons whatever they were called... or maybe an Astra Mk4 saloon/Belmont? although it looks slightly too big.. mmmmm Where was it taken? there seems to be Arabic writing in the background. |

No, it´s not an Senator A (1977 - 1986), but in fact the Opel Senator B (1987 onwards), which based on the Opel Omega A. This was filmed in Iraq, where many of these last big Opel sedans have gone in the last few years. |

To me it's a Daewoo Prince. These are also very popular in Iraq like all the other South Korean cars (Kia Besta dominates minivan market). http://finnesey.org/cars/korea/daewoo/DaewooPrince6.jpg |
