'Tweedledee' (= to be merged)? They're both No. 16. |

I've just noticed that in the thumb, the plate begins with "NM..." so it's most likely the same as this NM 430-registered Fowler: /vehicle_1353736-Fowler-16-nhp-Class-BB!-No15345-1919.html Merge it? Edit: AnimatronixX noticed this first I vote for merge. -- Last edit: 2020-02-19 20:44:30 |

You're going to grow a beard while waiting for incoming votes! (at least that's my experience) |

It depends on whether Tweedledum was there or not! These engines worked in pairs, one on each side of the field, hauling a double ended plough on a cable, back and forth across the field. Did the people also work in pairs? It looks like the people on both machines are the same. So if Tweedledee and Tweedledum are operated by two sets of twins wearing matching clothes... |

The only footage of NM 429 'Tweedledum' I was able to find is said to be from 1943. Also, no pictures of Tweedledee and Tweedledum seen together, apart from an artwork that may be based on an actual photograph or a single picture of just the latter one. Not sure if this means anything for this page, but it looks like Tweedledum is either publicity-shy or long gone?! |
