Do you mean authentic LAPD? If so, then no. There are a few things wrong...but the most noticeable example of this is the fact that it has lights behind the grill, which real LAPD units do not have. None of the units in the movie were authentic LAPD vehicles.

Yes. I've never seen a real police car without at least a driver's side A-pillar mounted spotlight. They are essential for traffic stops at night.

spotlights were not allowed on police cars here until last year

@jettalover: Spotlights were first used by the LAPD on their 1995 Caprices.

And there are many, many departments that do not have spotlights on their cars (although major law enforcement agencies tend to use them). If you ask me, they are essential for safety purposes, especially for officer safety. Two spotlights are ideal, although many agencies only have one on their cars.
