Small mistake. This is apparently a 1956 model, not 1955.

It had the same problems as the Rosengart Ariette. Beautiful modern-looking body, but ancient technology underneath.

It isn’t alone in the ancient technology, many of the British makes used sidevalve fours and beam front axles for far too long. This, however, does look fairly modern, even if the designer seems to have had a 100E Ford around.

Honestly I don't see any resemblance to a Ford 100E
