johnfromstaffs ◊ 2020-02-04 20:18	The thumb shows a post 1950 Motor Show car, so ‘51 model year. Earlier cars had a number plate à la Minor, at the base of the boot lid, in a pressed surround, which was changed to the squarish version shown in the thumb. The car in the main picture is a 1949 to 52 design, the grille changed to polished stainless steel bars for the 52 Motor Show, except on the LCVs which carried the Mazak diecasting until the end of the MO.
