I thought it was called B-100 (because of this forum thread https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1370332-mexican-bronco-thing.html ) but your brochure scan proves otherwise. |

I think this is a B-200. The B-150 in the above brochure has the Econoline-style front end and older body whereas main pic one is newer. Reply #11 in your linked thread also confirms B-200. And I can't find a B-100 that even remotely matches the main pic car at all. They all look older. The B-Series number evolved gradually with time in Mexican markets from around 1974+ (explained in reply #12) to either 1992 or 1994. B-100: Link to "bringatrailer.com" Link to "www.ford-trucks.com" B-150 (this time a passenger version) - shows a newer Econoline-style front. 1981 Ford B-150 (Mexico) Passenger by Michael, on Flickr And the B-200 shows an even newer design which matches our car: Ford B 200 by Michael, on Flickr Ford B-200, Cuernavaca, Mexico by Michael, on Flickr I believe that the B-200 would be the safest bet here. -- Last edit: 2020-01-19 21:09:11 |
