This car was one of three SP 66 fielded by the French Racing Team, Automobiles CD, No. 53 driven by French racing driver, Georges Heligouin and his co-driver, Jean "Johnny" Rives at the 1966 24 Hours at Le Mans. Nine hours into the race, No. 53 was crashed into by the No. 42 Matra Sports Matra MS620 driven by French driver, Jo Schlesser and British co-driver, Alan Rees during a heavy downpour on the track. -- Last edit: 2024-06-05 14:13:04 |
