I would say it's a car from the first months of the 1988 model year by its single rear spoiler and grey lower body. This second feature was eliminated on the last months of this model year when all cars started to have a "monochromatic" paint-scheme. -- Last edit: 2008-01-30 02:20:46 |

Actually that color looks like Regency Red Metallic, which was never available as a monochromatic finish. For the 1987.5 model (yes there were several key changes made mid year to cause for a .5 designation) only the colors Rosso Red, Diamond White and Black were available in a monochromatic finish. However I believe you're correct in that it is an early 1988 model because it has the revised single rear wing but the wheels were still the 15-inch "spatula design" (from 1987 to very early 1988) and not the "basket weave" wheels which were spec'd to the end of the XR4Ti model run. |
