Earlier in ep1 Not a normal UK arrival, so quirky plate info We've identified this vehicle using the details you provided NISSAN UNKNOWN 2006 Registration number: YD06SOK Body type: 3 Door Hatchback Colour: Black Date of first registration: June 2018 ✓ Taxed Tax due: 1 November 2020 Date of first registration June 2006 Date of first registration with DVLA June 2018 Year of manufacture 2006 Cylinder capacity 1490 cc CO₂ emissions 0 g/km Fuel type PETROL MOT history Date tested 11 November 2019 PASS Mileage 84,312 km So a J import like this one, described as a "2006 NISSAN CUBE CUBIC 15RX ... with A/C, Airbag, Power Steering, Power Window, CD Player, ABS, AM/FM Radio, Jack, Spare Tyre, Wheel Spanner"?? Was Cubic 15RX a special trim or edition?? |

'Cube' and 'Cube Cubic' are 2 different body styles. While the normal 'Cube' is a 5 seater, the 'Cube Cubic' is a 7 seater with three-row seats whose length and wheelbase is extended by 170mm (in comparison to a standard 'Cube'). Another difference is the badging on the rear. The normal Cube is badged like this, whereas the longer 'Cube Cubic' is badged like this. 15 just means 1.5 litres, RX is the trim which features that factory aero kit. I don't know if 'Cubic' should be added as a separate model, but the name should be in the extra info at the very least. Also, it seems to have Autech's "Rider" kit (bumper, grille): Edit: for Cubic's with the 1.5 litre engine (including 15RX), the chassis code is [YGZ11]. https://www.goo-net-exchange.com/catalog/NISSAN__CUBE_CUBIC/ -- Last edit: 2019-11-25 16:35:36 |

Footage gives strong impression of 3 rows of seats and a separate third window bwhind the rear door, but no clear view to capture. First thumb has additional seat belt behind the one for the door seat, so am fairly sure it's the extended body. It's used as a minicab, which is not really believable for a short plain Cube. And agree it looks like a full-kit version such as the Autech "Rider" picture ^. |

Aside from the additional seatbelts at the back, another way you can tell that it's a longer wheel base model is the length of rear door: -- Last edit: 2019-11-25 18:35:05 |

Since this particular model has 'Rider' makeover anyway, the '15RX' should be removed, as they are technically separate trim levels (see goonet's link above previously). I suggest simply leaving 'Rider' in extra info, without mentioning Autech, so that this wouldn't look cluttered. Edit: Also, it just occurred to me that this site allows its correct model name - Cube³ [BZ11] , so it should be renamed to that /vehicles_make-Nissan_model-Cube%B3.html -- Last edit: 2019-11-25 22:00:09 |
