International Harvester 1967-1969 1100, 1200, or 1300 series (probably an 1100). -- Last edit: 2007-10-08 22:49:59 |

1967-68, maybe, but not a 1969 at all. 1969 was the first year IHC light-duty trucks started getting squared off. |

The bumper looks a lot like the one on the 67 listed here: http://www.matthoobler.com/scout/ |

Okay, then unless we can find evidence of side-marker lights, it's a '67. |

Since this is a 1967, that makes this a B-1100. Link to "forum.imcdb.org" |

Judging by the headlight bezel present on the passenger side it is a 1968 model. It looks like either 1100C or 1000C. |

I agree. |

Well, it would be 1968 C-Series. Can't tell here whether 1000, 1100 or 1200. |

That truck belongs to a friend of mine. He's driving Sean Penn, who's on the left. That's a '68 International, according to the owner. The scene was filmed near Franklin, Tennessee, in the Summer of 1985. We had a great time hanging out with the stars of the film, including Crispin Glover, Chris Penn, Stephen Geoffries, Mary Stuart Masterson, Christopher Walken, and Madonna, whose song "Live To Tell" is the theme song of the movie. Her video shows clips from "At Close Range." This was also Keifer Sutherland's first movie. I was in a couple of the scenes, but got cut out LOL. Oh well. It was fun when Hollywood came to Franklin that year. --Chuck |
