Not a Marina. Could be a Datsun, or maybe even one of these fairly rare things?? |

The pickup does look like a Datsun 620 or just Pickup [620] (see those lines on the body and a rather square looking rear wheel arch). What was the name for this model in the UK anyway? The silver sedan behind it is probably a late 1970s Fiat 132. -- Last edit: 2019-10-25 19:33:03 |

UK name was 1-ton Pickup [GN620], imported from Nov 75 until GN720 update in March 80. But my hunch is more the Polish suggestion ..... |

But that bodyline near the sills doesn't seem to match for a Polski Fiat Polski Fiat 125p pickup Datsun 620 / Pickup |

There is a bodyline near the sills on the Polski - usually less obvious than its higher one, so maybe an odd effect here - and the sill line itself looks straight, plus I think there's a quarterlight and vertical sidelights on the (repaired??) front wing so I'm still voting Polski, but more of a hunch than a confident statement. More opinions welcome. |

75 to 79 Datsun 620 for me. Too long for Polski. UK 620 imports had the 7ft 'long bed'. Very popular in the construction trade at the time but the speed they rusted was incredible and Cabstars were even worse with the factory drop side bodies seemingly made of tissue paper ! /vehicle_725381-Datsun-620-1979.html -- Last edit: 2019-10-26 09:57:17 |
