Studebaker.

Yes.
So close up, about all you can say is it's in the '47 to '52 range.
Even the one-piece windshield doesn't help since all '47 to '52 convertibles (as well as Land Cruisers and Starlite coupes) used them.

Did a little research on Studebaker accessories and have learned this "Strato-O-View" style side view mirror was not offered by Studebaker until model year 1949. Narrows the possible year range to 1949 to 1951.

Changing listing to 1949 as earliest possible year.

Sure. It's a 1951 Studebaker.

Only State trimmed Commander/Land Cruiser sedans had a combination of bright rocker mouldings and bright gravel guards.
(It is not a Land Cruiser = no rear door window vent or "Land Cruiser" side nameplates.)

All Regal trimmed Champions and Commanders had a combination of bright rockers and rubber gravel guards (except the convertible which did carry the bright guards).

Interestingly, your linked car is missing its fender top ornaments which were standard on State Commanders.
It is thus either a State Commander with the fender ornaments removed or a Regal Champion/Commander with bright gravel guards substitued for the rubber ones.
(Bumper guards, which were also standard, are missing as well.)

Is that a family photo?
(My family owned a 1951 Studebaker Commander Regal 4-door sedan from 1951 to 1962.)

Thanks for the link.

Unfortunately, I on't know any details, I came across it by accident.(

Well, interesting none the less.

What's also interesting is the man in the photo. He looks like he's hugging a dog. Wonder what the story is behind that?

A propos "came across by accident": I've picked up this postcard together with a bunch of others, because I thought, maybe some members here could be interested in it:
