I don't. As I mostly with plates, visible in movies.

The movie was filmed in the Netherlands, so it's surely a car from there, disguised for any reason with British plates.

Well heres a thought... the reg is CXC.. which is a UK temporary export reg...
Its definately a correct year reg K (71-72) its a dynamo 1750!! only done between October 1970 and July 1971..(its got the 1500 universal grill badge)1750's got there own badge in Sept 71
Theres an awful lot of British Leyland cars in Turks Fruit unusually high for a continental movie,Giving away Leyland Netherlands where doing early product placement? So whats to say it was registered by Leyland's press department August 71, and then used as a Leyland Netherlands pool car for trips back to Birmingham occasionally? That way avoiding road taxes? Then in later years just register it in the Netherlands before selling it on..

CXC xxxK plates issued May-July 72 from Solihull, the posh neighbour for Birmingham. Factory Austins usually had Birmingham plates with O as middle letter, but Rover used XC Solihull plates. By 72 BL was well underway so may have centralised all their registrations to Solihull?? So ianmax may well be right - it sounds good anyway.
