Taillight is from a VW Golf Plus Typ 5M, the rest maybe Golf IV or V? |

The front looks a bit like Polo Classic/Ibiza/Cordoba. Maybe a conversion of Inca/Caddy? |

The rest of the car is definitely a 90's Seat Ibiza with three doors (they are longer than the ones on the Cordoba/Inca). |

To be fair: They did a pretty good classic custom job, craftsmanship and creativity deserve all my respect. I think my issues with it are the base vehicle and the white wall tires on a 1990s car, because that hardly ever works out IMHO*. But then again, that's what customizing is about, regardless of the nay-sayers and the taste-police. So in a twisted way, I like it now without liking it. ![]() * Tried it on my current car, because white wall tires and chrome grille are normally mandatory for my cars, but there is a clear line between customizing and costuming... Update 2 years later: The times they are a-changin', said car has white wall tires now and I like it! ![]() ![]() -- Last edit: 2023-04-24 11:36:24 |
