This taxi was the '66 Ford Custom in earlier scenes. What did surprise me was that a non-yellow cab could operate in Manhattan in 1972. My understanding was that all city cabs required the uniform yellow color. I'm confident it is not an error by the film makers, but some sort of quirk of which I am unaware. |
