Where it was filmed? With such cab can be: MAN, Steyr, Star, ERF or even TAM or STA. Hungarian Raba is maybe also possible. -- Last edit: 2007-09-23 15:32:56 |

http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0418279/locations ... which is no help at all. Whichever they are, they seem to have been imported specially, or maybe a supplier of movie prop vehicles could help. |

Why don't I do my research first? They're probably Steyrs. http://www.flickr.com/photos/85189338@N00/1224492039/ ![]() |

It's the M1078 LMTV (Light Medium Tactical Vehicle),based off the Steyr 12M18 and built by BAE Systems Mobility & Protection Systems. The wiki page has a lot of information on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Family_of_Medium_Tactical_Vehicles |

Perhaps we should use the name of the original FMTV manufacturer, Stewart and Stevenson. |

Stewart & Stevenson is the correct name, as BAE only took over Armor Holdings after the release of the film. Armor Holdings themselves took over Stewart & Stevenson in 2006, but no reference can be found that any M1078 were sold under that brand name. |
