G-series cab from September 1972 later the Super-G Series April 1978 - 1980. Most of the Super-G changes were internal better seating, fascia and controls. So this could be G or Super-G (without knowing the actual year). 1981-1984 the LEYLAND lettering was outlined in white flush on a black background and the 'catherine-wheel' logo disappeared, to make it look similar to the new T45 cab. The combined sidelights/indicators are mounted higher than (most or all?) UK Leyland G-Series cabs but this could be an Australian or owner-specific modification. Black wiper arms normally mean later dates but they look bright chromed here. |
