Actually, that is without question a 1997-1998 model, Ford F-250 "XLT" Before anyone comments in and says no, it’s a F-150, let me just say that Ford did indeed, offer this body style in the 3/4 Ton configuration. How do I know it’s a F-250? (The wheels give it's identity away, as they were only offered on the F-250 and they will only fit the F-250 lug pattern) |

Neptune is correct.Actually was also sold a few years after that (mostly to fleets) as the "7700"(GVWR)F-150. |

These were light duty F-250s and they were around for the 1997 model year. Here is one for sale, which belonged to the state of South Carolina: Feel free to check the VIN for the truck. It is listed midway on the page. Link to "www.govdeals.com" -- Last edit: 2009-03-16 03:11:09 |

These '97 and '98s were sold to cover the gap in time until the Super Dutys were introduced for '99. |

1999 brochure here shows they were made in 1999 as both the Super Duty/ Light Duty: Link to "www.ebay.com" These carried the [PN96] code as their F-150 skinned counter parts. |
