I believe this is a 1952 Buick. I can only see 3 portholes so is it a Super or a Special? -- Last edit: 2007-09-12 23:53:20 |

It's a Special, not a Super (different body lines) And the side trim looks more like a 1951 than a 1952. In 1952, the chrome trim didn't extend on the rear quarters above the wheelwells. There was still a crease in the body line there but on this picture, it looks more like chrome trim than just a crease in the body. 1952 Special http://www.plan59.com/images/JPGs/bu52roof01.jpg 1952 Special http://www.hubcapcafe.com/i/2003/blaine/buic5201.jpg 1951 Special http://www.calcruising.com/51buick-1.jpg 1951 Super (note the different shape of the upper part of the door, the sedan has a similar shape http://www.hubcapcafe.com/i_rdr/2003/buick5101.JPG 1952 Super http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2496147 /images/011/590.jpg |

I believe this is a 1951, based on the bumpers. See my comment on this one (although the page hasn't been uptaded) /vehicle_123131-Buick-unknown-1951.html |
