Grand Marquis's were only used for subsidized(personal) patrols. The Honolulu Police Department never used Grand Marquis's for marked patrol vehicles. The paint job used on this Grand Marquis is the current one used by the department which is anachronistic for the time period of the scene for this episode. The correct paint job would've been all white with the word police painted in white lettering with a blue block background around the word on the both the driver and passenger front fenders and rear of the trunk in blue. And the department badge painted on both the driver and front passenger side doors of the patrol car. The main image is flashback in this episode to the 80's when Sgt. Duke Lukelha was a younger patrol officer investigating a murder case that became a 30-year old cold case. He decides to retire but not before solving the case. -- Last edit: 2024-12-02 01:22:01 |
