There's a chance this car is a rare 1 of 150 206 GT '68-'69. Kind of looks like an exposed fuel cap in the rear "buttress". This is the best freeze frame that I could manage. Also according to Wiki the movie was filmed in 1969. 246 launched in Turin November of '69. And it looks like summer in this movie filmed in Sicily (but set in Corsica, France hence the bad fake french plate). ![]() Also note wooden steering wheel, though early 246's had one too. ![]() https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/68-206-and-70-246-gt-dino.87622/ -- Last edit: 2020-04-10 16:01:32 |

Tempted to agree 206. Front indicators seem smaller/fainter than I'd expect for a 246, but might be a screen effect rather than real. |

I couldn't find anything on indicators. Basically the 206 body is shorter by about 2 inches/5 cm which doesn't help much. Steering wheel is not definitive either. There's also the engine lid vents which we can't see. ..ferrarichat thread is pretty informative on the differences |

Switched to 206, mainly because of the dates. My front indicators query seems a dead end, except that these seem to be white so Italian spec, confirming the "French" plate as fake. |
