It's based on the one year only 1977 Mercury Cougar Wagon -- Last edit: 2019-05-13 04:51:14 |

Clearly a Belgian conversion, hence the "Lijkwagen". Impossible to tell who made the conversion by closing the windows, adding a vinyl roof as well as interior work, various moldings, coach lamps, flags, landau bows and two (!) roof racks. Dewaele would be my guess - and that's probably more than the actual owner could tell. |

I usually include both corbillard and lijkwagen to avoid tensions. You may like this '48 Dodge lijkwagen: http://www.nostalgic-cars.be/media/wagens/filmwagens/1948-dodge-lijkwagen/ |

Tensions?! Thanks for the pictures! I hadn't seen this one before and I do like it very much. Looks like a relative of these fellows. |

Things have to be bilingual here, otherwise you're facilitating one community. |

Oh my god! --------- Oh mon dieu! Even if we only have one administrative language over here, that concept sounds very... German. |

A Mercury Cougar hearse? Wow! Can I request that for my own funeral? |

Don't! The Filipino one might be the better option. |
