1926 Hudson Sedan, probably a 7 passenger.It has the bright radiator cowl,the double blade bumper and the large spoke wheels and tires of 1926 .This is one of the most famous historical pictures of a Hudson. |

This vehicle just sold for pretty decent money at the Barret Jackson auction in Scottsdale, AZ. It was pulled out of storage after 69 years with a rotted body, and was restored into a "torpedo-style" period race car painted bright red. |

Just rereading the novel this movie was based on, and the filmakers took the care to get this vehicle just as Steinbeck described it. "A Hudson Super-Six sedan, and the top had been ripped in two with a cold chisel." |
