Ce buggy anglais n'est pas un Manx mais un GP Beach Buggy châssis long (non raccourci). |

Three of these buggies are used in the scene where Locque and his thugs (one of them played by Charles Dance in his film debut) hunt down Bond and Countess Lisl (Cassandra Harris). -- Last edit: 2008-10-08 17:52:48 |

Please change: All three vehicles are 1970+ GP Super Buggy models, which were built on the Volkswagen chassis, while the GP Buggy used a shortened VW chassis. |

I have this book: Link to "www.amazon.co.uk" Which states the following: Super Buggy (details as Robi's comment above) introduced in 1970, even entered in that year's London to Mexico World Cup Rally. Super Buggy MK2 introduced in July 1975, revised tub, wider wings, proper moulded in rear seat. Super Buggy MK3 introduced in August 1977, new bonnet with incorporated GRP screen surround, redesigned rear seat moulding. Suggests this is a 1977+ MK3 as it has a moulded in screen surround? |
