My car (a gunmetal grey Humber Super Snipe Series Va) was used in this mini-series. The wonderful gentleman who owned the Austin Cambridge, lived in Highgate, north London. It was a very enjoyable couple of days. The car did require somebody work, so I am not surprised it's off the road. He did own a tasty Wolseley 16/60, similar to one owned by a doctor who lived in Norwich. Strange that my car was featured quite a few times in the background and only picture I have seen of it is the near-side front headlight of the car behind the Jaguar E-Type. Hope someone will post some more pictures, e.g. a Morris Marina 1.8, a restored ADO16 1100, etc. |
