Yes, I'd think so - if you have a look at the cars in the two shows, many were used in both.

The badging bothers me a tad - all the Freeways I've seen have the badging up on the boot-lid, much higher than this one.

6.05 colour split is different from the Friday On My Mind car, so not the same. And - with your badge comment (I've never seen a Freeway in the metal) - am now thinking 6.04 and 6.05 sightings are same MG Magnette S3 (or perhaps Riley 4/68). I don't think either were locally made.

After having a quick look at Magnette badging, I'd agree that this is probably an MG - it does appear to be an MG badge:

Here's the Freeway badging:

That badge was highly prized when we used to visit the scrapyards "after hours" as kids, a couple of chocolate digestives for the dogs and you'd be fine.

Mine's still on the back of Mam & Dad's garage door.

Passing thought - this has the 1959-61 colour split with the bump on the rear door as also the A55 Cambridge, so [ADO9] Magnette Mk3/Riley 4/68 - [ADO38] Magnette Mk4/Riley 4/72 had straight colour splits along the waistline trim. And if this is a UK-supplied [ADO9] it had 1489cc.

Aus-build ADO9s (Cambridge, Oxford, Wolseley) however always had 1622cc (as adopted for 1962+ UK ADO38s). So this range topping MG (or Riley - they were pretty much identical) would have had the smaller engine compared to the mainstream Aus showroom offerings. Can't pursue that thought any further, but it may have made life difficult for the salesmen trying to persuade punters into buying the premium choice.

Probably this one.
