I think some scenes were filmed in one of the fomer British colonies in the West Indies (the Bahamas perhaps, since there's a shot of a 'Nassau Arcade'), e.g. /vehicle_123074-Ford-Thunderbird-1958.html /vehicle_123079-Triumph-Herald-Convertible-1960.html /vehicle_123073-Ford-Cortina.html Could this shot be from the same island? -- Last edit: 2007-08-18 11:59:42  |

The Thames 400e was relatively popular and a good seller in the USA, maybe the Ford connection but a number of them made it over. Not many seen in preservation though, I've yet to see any pictures of any survivors in America today - anyone else know of any? There are plenty of restored examples here in Britain. |
