Its proper name is GMC not GM. GM (General Motors) is the company, GMC (General Motors Coach) is the product Should be GMC to conform to the rest of the database -- Last edit: 2021-06-13 00:31:13 |

Didn't GMC stand for General Motors Company/Corporation? never heard of General Motors Coach, they only market as General Motors (GM) Later GMC (General Motors Company) and General Motors Diesel Division (GMDD) for Old & New Look buses. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GM_New_Look_bus https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_Motors_Diesel_Division Edit: Ok, found it. But can also be under "GM" "GMDD" or "GMC" badge naming (depend on the models.) http://utahrails.net/buses/GM_Coach_Diesel_Division_ttmg.htm -- Last edit: 2019-01-14 21:33:08 |

Buses were built by the GMC Truck and Coach Division, renamed the Truck and Bus Group in 1981. General Motors Diesel Division (GMDD) was the manufacturer in Canada. This is a 1963 or 1965 GMC TDH5303. |

The emblem in front would have said "GM" when delivered, as they did until 1967 - Link to "gallery.bustalk.info" The buses pictured on the cptdb page have been restored, and the "GM" emblems were replaced with later "GMC" emblems. However, they were all built by the same GMC Truck and Coach Division. |
