Just a 1970+ Mk II Mini (no more a Morris or Austin) |

I'm intrigued by this one. Is there a reason it has been entered as (Morris) Mini Cooper S??. It's a Mk3 with 1970 J plate - no door hinges, Leyland logo on wing - and the only Mk3 which had factory fit over-riders was the Mini Cooper S, and the wheels match. Only 1572 made March 70 to June 71, with 792 sold in UK. With O as middle letter in plate, it could be a Longbridge factory number. |
