Apparently before its current restoration it "was found in a very sorry state after already being extensively customised, at one point with gullwing doors and a big American V8." from here. Which is a bit of a mind-boggling prospect. |

With a large and heavy V-6 and associated transmission mounted fairly low, the c of g wouldn’t be that high, bearing in mind that everything above floor level is mainly thinnish sheet steel. The apparent suspension mods and wider wheels suggest that the cornering might rather be limited by sudden breakaway than by excessive roll. Initial understeer might very quickly become terminal oversteer especially with that short wheelbase. -- Last edit: 2018-12-08 23:24:41 |
