I own this truck. (not the actual one in the movies but a willy's truck) Honest to God one of the reasons I liked it so much through my life is when i saw it first in this movie. I don't have the topper, that seems to be a custom job of some sort. What the movie doesn't tell you is the stock engine in that thing is a 90hp flat 6 called a Hurricaine. Top speed is about 45-50 miles an hour. Jake speed wouldn't have gotten far with that in real life. |
