Circa 1962 Studebaker. Not sure if all Stude Pick-ups were called Champs.

Correct Dave, The Champ was actually built from 1960/62 with no changes

The Champ was built from 60-64 and there were quite a few changes. This looks to be a later one with the wide (Dodge) box, earlier ones had the narrow (and much better looking) Studebaker box. This one also looks like it had a deluxe cab and a sliding rear window, which is common now but was a Studebaker innovation introduced with the Champ in 1960.

This was an awful waste of a Champ, they should have used a POS Chevy instead.

I wonder if this is the same truck that was used in Mission Impossible? It's the same color and has the same bed, and these trucks aren't exactly common.
