That is not Zastava 126p, it is Polski Fiat 126p ! Zastava never made 126p cars! |

Indeed it's a PF 126p, but werent they marketed in former Yugoslavia as Zastava (same like 125p)? |

No, Imre is correct, in ex Yugoslavia they sell 126p as Polski Fiat and 125p as Zastava 125pZ (Poljski/Polish/ Zastava; popular nickname "Pezejac") but not (!) from the beginning of sales in YU in the early 70s. Trolley is soviet ZIU-9. -- Last edit: 2012-04-23 01:23:59 |

Trace which shows that also pre-1985 (pre-FL) PF 126p were at least sometimes named in Yugoslavia Zastava 126p. From late 70s Zastava brochure: Link to "www.limundo.com" I'm looking (and waiting) for more - one more brochure or cover of factory handbook would be enough. EDIT: and here it is "Zastava 126p" printed in 1975: Link to "www.limundo.com" -- Last edit: 2019-01-24 19:37:57 |
